The 2020 Toyota 4Runner is one of the single best off-road SUVs in the world today. It’s big, brawny, and determined, all characteristics of a tough Toyota design. The mid-size 2020 Toyota 4Runner promises to be one of the highly anticipated releases here at our dealership, so we’re serving Pittsburgh New Castle Mercer customers with a full preview of what to expect from this monstrous off-road champion. Taylor Toyota of Hermitage specials promise to give you the savings you need to grab your favorite trim of 4Runner.
The grille and front fascia of the 2020 Toyota 4Runner near Pittsburgh tells a story, and it’s one of the best stories you’ll ever see. The high-sitting grille is blacked out and very much features a chainlink appearance for a huge introduction to your 4Runner. Circular crystal-ish fog lamps form a second set of smaller eyes below the diamond-shaped headlights. It’s a genuinely unique front end in its class, and you’ll know immediately that what this model is all about is off-roading. It’s structure is set up to perfectly tackle the things you find on trails, such as rocks, creeks, and thick mud. Toyota created the 2020 Toyota 4Runner near Pittsburgh to conquer rough terrain, and it shows up in the design.
Black Softex seating is a pure joy on the higher trims of the 4Runner. You’ll also appreciate the way that they’ve organized the cabin to give you a rustic, earthy atmosphere that makes you want to hit the trails. Toyota is serving Pittsburgh New Castle Mercer drivers with a cabin that is old school, dashing, and – pardon the expression – manly. It’s a cabin that makes you feel like you’re about to go out for some weekend camping and enjoy a crackling fire. Yes, there are plastics in the interior, and no, they don’t detract from the 4Runner’s mission at all. Sometimes you don’t want posh. Sometimes you want a rough and rugged 4Runner, and that’s exactly what Toyota is serving Pittsburgh New Castle Mercer buyers with. We love it! If you’re not into the rustic look and feel, please consider grabbing the Limited trim. Among many other things, you’ll enjoy a power sunroof, leather upholstery, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Hey, even off-road fanatics can enjoy the good life once in awhile.
A lone powertrain generates 270 horsepower and 278 lbs-ft of torque for a genuinely superior off-road powertrain. Keep in mind that off-road is about more than just power. You’ve got to have a powertrain that works flawlessly with your off-road suspension and braking systems. Then you’ve got to have that ground clearance to deal with things like rock crawling. Your 5-speed automatic transmission works awesomely with your 270 horsepower engine choice, and we’re thrilled to see that Toyota kept it simple here. 4X4 systems are available on the 4Runner.
A much larger touchscreen infotainment system is available on the 4Runner this year, and that’s a truly welcome change. We know that 4Runner fans like to keep it rustic, but it was high time Toyota upgraded to the larger touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You don’t just get that, though, you also get Bluetooth and 4G connectivity so that you can keep up with the times in today’s connected world. We’re also thrilled to see that the 4Runner has a nice premium audio system option if that’s your thing, too.
Safety features are always important on off-road oriented vehicles. Your 4Runner is going to be protected by the award-winning Toyota Safety Sense-P system. With pre-collision systems, pedestrian detection, parking assist systems, and lane keeping assist features, you’ll never have to break out in a sweat before driving anywhere in the world, be it the highway, urban streets, or the most rugged trails in the world. With the larger touchscreen system, you also get more premium camera angles of your 4Runner’s exterior. We will vouch for the safety systems of the 4Runner any day of the week.
The sheer number of trims you have to choose from may make you want to contact us for a lot more information about this model. We have a ton of Taylor Toyota of Hermitage specials to aid you in your endeavor to pick up a higher trim (if you do indeed want one). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with going sparse or going luxury on the 4Runner. Toyota gives you the flexibility to do both. For more information about its many options, please contact our Pittsburgh PA dealership today. We’ll be more than happy to get you set up with a test drive of one of our many 4Runner models and trims.
